What's your parenting superpower?
Are you a pro at bedtime? King of the dad jokes? An expert at sensing impending mischief?
Mine is that I am excellent at reading children's books out loud and seem to have a pied piper effect on children when I do. Every time I go to the library and read to my toddler, I end up attracting a gaggle of children who want to listen in and who also bring me books they want me to read. Now I was a teacher and admittedly have had some practice with this, but I do find it funny. I've ended up doing an impromptu public story time more times than I can count.
