What's the longest layover you've had in an airport?
I'm in the middle of a 17hr 55min layover in Kuala Lumpur Airport and wondering who can beat that.
(Dealing with such a long layover because the ticket price was exceptionally cheap and I have a bunch of work to do anyway)

We boarded a Hollywood looking British Airlines with little white lights running up the gangplank. Very festive. It was late at night and we were on our way to England. We fell asleep on the way and woke to the captain's words that we would be landing in a field as Heathrow was jammed up. We sat on that plane with no way to get out for six hours. No food, no water. Stewardesses opened the doors as the air conditioning was off. It got very hot. Don't remember the take of in the field, but we did get to England a bit worse for wear.😵
