Q1️⃣ People living with invisible illnesses like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia need understanding more than judgment. Friends, family, and workplaces should listen to them with patience, support them emotionally, and avoid saying “you look fine.” Small acts of kindness, flexible schedules, and caring words can make their daily life easier and less stressful.
Q2️⃣ One common misunderstanding is that people think these illnesses are “just tiredness” or “all in the mind.” In reality, these conditions are very real and can affect a person physically, mentally, and emotionally every single day. Society needs to learn that not every illness is visible from the outside.
Q3️⃣ My message to anyone living with a long-term condition is: “You are stronger than you think, and your pain is valid even if others cannot see it. Keep believing in yourself and never lose hope.” I would say this because many people with chronic illnesses feel alone or misunderstood, and sometimes a few kind words can give them courage to keep going every day 🌸
