Adding a handle to a charcuterie board. Will glue offer enough support?
I'm making a woven charcuterie board and don't quite have enough to make a handle out of so I thought about cutting a handle out of one of the planks and cutting another "weave" into the board to add enough material to cut a handle out of after a glue up. So it would be taping these two boards together, cutting along the red line on the bandsaw, then gluing the top right plank to the bottom left plank. Will this be strong to hold the board by the handle if I do this?
