Backpacking to & camping at Little castle lake, Shasta Trinity Forrest?
Wondering if anybody has backpacked to and camped at little castle lake in Shasta Trinity Forrest? How they liked it and would you recommend?
Assume the lake is a good water source?
Do we need to use wag bags or can we dig a cathole?
We are going at the beginning of October and I have to find something in the Mt Shasta area that is a relatively short distance (around 2 miles). My bro has a hard time doing anything more than that with a 30 pound pack on.
