Weirdest thing someone without children has said to you about parenting/kids
I’ve always gotten such odd remarks from my non-parents family & friends about parenting and kids in general, I thought I’d share.
—I simply wouldn’t allow my baby to cry in public. It’s rude. He would know not do that. (My infant started crying in Publix)
—My kids will never have sugar, not even fruit. It causes autism.
—Why is he still in a diaper? (Asking about my 13 month old lol)
—Why don’t you ever leave the house without your kids? (My response: “because I’m a SAHM and my husband is at work”). They proceed with “ohh I forget you can’t just leave them in the crib like you can leave your dog in a crate”.
