What are these lights in the clouds during thunderstorm, DE 7/4/26
Seen in southern Delaware, looking into the eastern sky during the thunderstorm on the 4th. This was either over a wooded area or Rehoboth Bay. Main lightening show (what my wife was watching when she noticed this) was to the west of us and was incredibly beautiful (INTENSE).
Easiest to see when the lightening strikes and lights up the clouds.
I thought it might be ball lightening in the clouds, or maybe crown flare, but I can't find any similar videos that look like this... Probably using the wrong search terms. Thought it could be search lights as well, but seems like a really odd location to have search lights and the movement pattern seems too random.
Wife has several more videos.
