Piano recital! Frederick Mompou’s “El Lago”
A performance from earlier in April and my second recital of my freshman year. I normally enjoy playing music from video games/Movies and more generic classical stuff, so this recommendation from my teacher was for sure a different learning experience! Ended up being a favorite of the pieces I’ve learned. El Lago translates to “The Lake,” which I tried my best to reflect with the performance.
The recording cut off early but it just repeats the beginning section so you aren’t missing out on any “new music.”
I hope you enjoy! Critiques welcome!
