Friends, I need your ideas
I’m single (therefore traveling solo). I have to use 2-3 weeks of vacation this summer. I want to backpack somewhere accessible. I’m middle-aged, and a very seasoned camper and backpacker, but I did some damage to my knees in the Navy and can’t scramble or do anything too strenuous. I have savings for traveling. I live in the center of the United States and I’m desperate to return to mountains, hills, and/or trees or the ocean. I’d have to acclimatize if I go somewhere like the Rockies. Where should I go?? Anyone want to join me at some point? Where would you go? I also have my passport and I’m not confined to the U.S.
