I genuinely can’t decide between industrial or spatial design
It’s been two years and I still can’t pick. I asked around so much. I know what both entail. I just really don’t know what the right fit is for me.
I like lighting design or events the most if I were to pick spatial. Installations or museums or virtual environments are what first got me to pick spatial.
However, buildings and architecture seem boring to me and i find myself struggling to keep engaged.
I like creating hands on things and workshops and drawing if I were to pick industrial. I would go into transport or tech gadgets. I like the idea of spray painting stuff. However, I’m scared I’ll find it too bland and too “engineery”.
I already do an IT degree so I got the tech aspect of my personality covered but I’m also an artist who just loves creating things and I’m finding it extremely hard to pick.
Also regarding the future and job opportunities, I’m not sure which one is better.
Idk what I want and idk what space I would thrive in.
Any insight would help.
