Am I struggling to respect boundaries?
I had someone I knew for 6 months cut me off today for telling me I don’t respect boundaries.
I’m really confused if they over reacted or I took it too far. I thought we were just talking.
They got mad about this:
I asked them “how much did you end up making on commission for that job?”
They said to me “it was enough to help the pockets”
I said “oh so you aren’t sure about the specific amount?
They said “it’s kind of a personal question honestly”
And I said “haha okay it’s not really a big deal to talk about this kind of stuff, but let’s change the subject I guess”.
Later in the day they said they felt disrespected and wanted to end the friendship.
Did this really warrant being cut off for?
