I used to think a television set was a luxury when I was a kid. I came from a poor family, and we didn't have a TV back then. When the F4 craze (Meteor Garden) hit, I actually had to go to my aunts’ house—they were teachers—just to watch. Now, whenever I see a television set, it reminds me of my childhood days, which were mostly spent playing outdoor games. Maybe that’s why even now, I don't really have an interest in watching TV; I just use my phone or laptop. But I've realized that a television isn't necessarily a 'luxury'—it all depends on your financial level. For example, one person might say a certain cruise is incredibly expensive and choose not to book it. Meanwhile, another person might book that same cruise in a heartbeat at the exact same price. Ultimately, nothing is considered a luxury if you have the capacity to buy or pay for it.
Wow, what a thoughtful reflection, sister! 🌟 It’s true, luxury really depends on perspective and circumstances. I love how you connected it to your childhood memories, it makes the insight feel so personal and relatable.
Thank you sis 😊 I am so glad that resonated with you! There is something incredibly grounding about looking back at those simple moments through the lens of adulthood.😊🌻✨
At kids point of view but now just simply a thing with no profound importance as you grow. Really depends on someone's perspective on how you see things. Nice one sissy , thanks for joining. 😻❤️
