Advice on Lake Michigan Trip
Hello! I’m looking for general advice, tips, suggestions for this trip we are planning on taking this September. We are driving from Kansas City. Rough schedule is:
Day 1: Drive to the Green Bay Area, stop at House on the Rock in WI on the way. Hotel in Green Bay Area.
Day 2-3: Drive to Pictured Rocks and car camp, hike, kayak, etc.
Day 4-5: Drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, maybe more car camping, maybe Airbnb, maybe check out Torch Lake
Day 6: Drive to Muskegon and take high speed ferry to Milwaukee, hotel in Milwaukee (alternative is to drive to Chicago an get a hotel there, but we have been to Chicago multiple times before, love it but wanting to see a new city)
Day 7: Drive home to Kansas City
