YSK: If you have a computer running Windows 10, you should right click on the Task Bar, go to Search and untick Show Search Highlights. It's a broken feature that causes crashes and lag.

For weeks my PC has been slow as hell when browsing the internet. The task bar crashes, the screen stretches out a bit, and then the task bar reappears. Even when this isn't happening, the computer has been very slow.
Today I found the solution showed in the title.
**Task Bar -> Search -> Show Search Highlights**
Suddenly the machine is 10 years younger.
Show Search Highlights is a new feature that seems to have been auto enabled after a windows update sometime last year. **It's probably a good idea to disable this even if you haven't noticed any problems. I don't think it's very important anyhow.**
