High-value jewellery for personal use - India to Nairobi
Hi, I am a Canadian resident who is an Indian citizen. I am getting married in Nairobi. My wedding jewellery (a mix of NEW and OLD jewellery) is all in India and I will be flying from India - Nairobi soon. I have 10-12 items, all high value. Can someone tell if I will face issues at the Delhi Airport or Nairobi Airport? I have 5-6 women I can divide the jewellery between and they can all wear it. Will we still be stopped in Delhi or Nairobi? Can I get an export certificate in Delhi and never bring the jewellery back?
