🦌✨ Caught mid-sunset at Ledibeng Eco Estate, Lephalale (2014) — a mama kudu and her curious little fawn shared a peaceful moment right outside my living room window. I tiptoed behind the glass, but ‘mom’ had already clocked me 😅
Nature always knows… and she’s always watching.

ℹ️ Fun fact: kudu calves are born with camouflage built in — their stripes help them vanish into the bush, and moms often hide them for weeks, visiting only to nurse.

⚠️ Though greater kudus are still listed as Least Concern , habitat loss and poaching mean their quiet beauty isn’t guaranteed.
