😂 Well… apparently Tangled has decided I should promote myself and following
Which is slightly awkward, because I’m much better at saying “look what I made!” than “look at me!” 🤣🙈
But a Mission is a Mission, so here goes…

If I had to squeeze myself into three words, I think they would be:
Creator. Thinker. Connector.
Although, depending on the day, we may need to add overthinker, yarn collector, professional rabbit-hole explorer and occasional menace. 😏🤣
🎨 CREATOR
Creativity has followed me through most of my life in one form or another.
I love photography — especially the small things people sometimes walk straight past. A strange chair. A flower growing where it shouldn’t. Reflections. Roads. Clouds. Sunsets. Quiet little moments that somehow say more than the obvious ones. 📸🌿
Then there’s crochet . 🧶
Yarn, colour, patterns, half-finished projects, completed projects, and at least one project silently judging me from somewhere in the house. 😂
And then music came roaring back into my life.
Under BloomDipityMuse , I create music that wanders wherever my imagination takes it — electronic, dreamy, emotional, atmospheric, meditative, playful and occasionally a little strange. 🎶🎧
Much of it begins with a feeling, a memory, a sentence, a moment… and then I follow it.
Sometimes I know exactly where I’m going.
Sometimes the song knows before I do. 😉
💭 THINKER
I’m curious by nature.
I notice things. I question things. I poke around new features to see what they do. 😂
So when Tangled launches something like Missions , there’s a fairly good chance I’ll be somewhere nearby clicking buttons, taking screenshots and muttering: “Hmmmm… now what are they up to?” 🕵🏻♀️🤣
I also enjoy the quieter side of life — walking, movement, Pilates, yoga, meditation, reflection and those little moments where you stop long enough to actually notice your own life happening.

Somewhere along the way, Tangled became more than somewhere I simply posted.
I created
Tangled Steps combines several things I love: movement, encouragement, community and a little friendly competition. 👟💪
And perhaps that is one of the things I enjoy most about social platforms when they work well: the unexpected connections.
You discover that someone loves the same song you do.
Someone else crochets.
Someone understands a photograph you thought only meant something to you.
A conversation begins because of one tiny detail you almost didn’t mention.
That happened to me today, actually.
I discovered through another user’s self-promotion post that she used to perform Ave Maria at weddings.
And suddenly I was taken straight back to my own wedding — where I didn’t walk in to the traditional wedding march at all.
I walked in to Ave Maria , performed live on keyboard and guitar with vocals. ❤️🎶
One little detail.
One unexpected connection.
That’s the good stuff.
I’m South African by birth, now living in Portugal, and somewhere between all the places, years, people, music, photographs, yarn, family, laughter and life lessons… this is the person who landed here.
Not perfectly polished.
Not interested in pretending life is perfect either.
Just curious, creative, still learning and still making things.
Apparently Luna AI recently described me as:
“a creator, a thinker, and a connector.”
It also called me “soft, thoughtful, and deeply human.”
Which was lovely.
Clearly Luna hasn’t caught me on one of my sarcastic days yet. 🤣🙈😏
So there you have it.

I have now climbed onto the virtual chair and shouted:
