Best way to spruce up or replace these steps
I recently bought a house and I’m trying to diy my way through a bunch of the smaller projects. I’d like to take on these front steps sometime soon - the timber frame is rotting, the connection to the ledger board is gone (literally went flying one day), and the steps appear to be sinking. So it’s not urgent but will need to be addressed at some point. I also just hate the way they look 🤣 Trying to avoid spending a lot of money right now though so looking into options for both lower cost diy replacement steps and simple cheap cosmetic upgrades I could do until I’m willing to pay someone to do a better job than I can replacing them. Interested in thoughts on options for both as I go back and forth on whether I should do one or the other.
