What are the most vegan/vegetarian-friendly cities to travel to in 2026?
Sharing now as I’m leaving Amsterdam.
My top 4 + the year I visited:
\- Portland, OR, USA (2021)
\- Taipei, Taiwan (2019)
\- Amsterdam, Netherlands (2026)
\- Stockholm, Sweden (2018)
For me, veg-friendly would include:
\- quantity of dedicated restaurants relative to the city size
\- ease of finding somewhere
\- availability of veg-options at non-veg restaurants
\- how delicious or varied the options are
Always a big part of travel for me, figure it’s true for others out there so thought I’d share. Amsterdam was wonderful and so easy! :)
