The Paul Bennewitz case may be one of the strangest documented examples of government UFO disinformation
We just did a deep dive on Paul Bennewitz, and this story goes off the rails almost immediately.
Bennewitz was watching activity around Kirtland AFB, believed he was decoding alien transmissions, and eventually ended up connecting it all to Dulce Base, alien implants, cattle mutilations, secret treaties, underground bases and competing alien groups.
Some of the alleged decoded messages are incredible. One starts with **“Women of Earth are needed…”** and another includes **“listen orange.”** So yes, there was a lot to unpack here.
What makes the case genuinely interesting, though, is the government angle. People connected to U.S. intelligence later acknowledged feeding false UFO information into the community, with Richard Doty and William Moore becoming major parts of the story. Bennewitz eventually suffered a severe mental breakdown, which makes the whole thing way darker than the usual goofy UFO rabbit hole.
Full disclosure: this is from our podcast, Casual Preppers. We definitely have some fun with how absurd parts of the story get, but we also dug pretty deep into Project Beta, Dulce, Doty, Moore, MJ-12 and whether Bennewitz may have actually stumbled onto classified military activity before everything spiraled.
Curious what people here think: government psyop that got out of hand, deliberate cover for classified projects, or did Bennewitz actually find something real? #politics
