Colorado fires
We’re about 14 miles NW from the Ferris fire. Even with that distance and terrain, we’ve been placed in the “Ready” position.
Fires been burning since last Saturday. We have all our essentials, paperwork, animal things and packed by the door.
Crazy we just moved in two months ago to our forever property.
Please keep the 300+ firefighters in your thoughts while they battle this.
As with everything living remote, always have a plan.
