40th beach adventure destination suggestions
Trying to plan for a warm, tropical sort of adventure destination this winter for my 40th. We live on the east coast near the beach, so we will be able to enjoy that all summer. However, in the winter, we are itching for warmth. I am looking to spend about 2,500 or so (2 people I think at this point). It could be for just a long weekend — 5-6 days max. We enjoy swimming, surfing, snorkeling, relaxing, hiking, and good food. We are low key, non-party type of people, so somewhere that’s mellow, clean, safe, and quiet would be awesome. I’ve thought about the Bahamas, the Keys, Puerto Rico, Bermuda. Any other thoughts? Bonus points for resort/hotel suggestions. I’m always kind of nervous planning for that because we’ve had some awful hotel & Airbnb experiences.
