Low carbon, reliable, local geothermal energy + Lithium! A 15 year £50m project to provide energy to 10k homes has been turned on in Cornwall. A hole's been made with help from former oil rig drillers to a depth of 5km for ~200°C granite that is used to heat circulated water.
