How to handle Instagram requests from people I don't want to connect with?
Recently a few acquaintances and old highschool classmates who I've ran into at events or other social gatherings have added me on Instagram. I don't really like them or have any desire to reconnect, so I've just left their requests in my inbox without accepting. Is this rude? Will they ask me why I ignored their requests the next time I run into them? We have similar social circles so it's not unlikely that we'll see each other again. What's the best way to keep my boundaries while not offending people who I have no desire to befriend?
