Sleeping bag and mat advice
Hey all. I’m leaving in less than a month to go to Peru for 3 weeks and still haven’t bought a sleeping bag or mat. Doing part of the Ausengate Trek in July so sleeping conditions can apparently vary around -5°C. I’d rather a foam mat like the Nemo Switchback to avoid risk of puncture but don’t know if it’ll be warm enough, and was thinking something along the lines of the Mountain Equipment Luna III for the bag? Any advice/recommendations on either is appreciated as it’s my first time at these temperatures. Ideally looking on the cheaper side of equipment (less than £150 per piece), whilst also looking to save space in my bags where possible (with the exception of a foam mat which can go on the outside of my pack or line the bottom of my duffel).
