i just moved out of my parents' for the first time
i recently moved out for the first time a few months ago, got a job about two months into moving. its a handwash carwash job outside, in arizona, in the middle of june. i feel like im being a baby in not wanting to keep this job, but i also rushed into taking it as it was the only job thatd worked out at that point and rent was coming up fast. so without considering it being about to be summer in probably one of the hottest states, i took it, and i regret it very much. i like the people, and i get free carwashes and lots of tips, but the heat and being scheduled seven days straight basically every other week has been killing me. im wanting to be a tattoo artist in the future, but for now i have to focus on a regular joe job to pay the bills and stuff. im wanting a job with a little more independence and a morning shift so i can have my evenings free, preferrably no weekends. what would you recommend that isnt a food industry job that would suit my needs and get me out of the heat? i havent put in my two weeks yet or anything like that so i have time to figure this out, but im hoping to do so before the summer gets too much hotter than 110.
