NATURAL RESOURCES AS ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR THE GLOBAL LEVIATHAN

There are many ways to finance the Global Leviathan. Most of these methods are inspired by the UN, and the Global Leviathan will utilize these traditional sources of funding. However, to create something more powerful than the UN, additional funding sources need to be identified. Among these sources, there is the exploitation of natural resources that do not belong to any country but may be of interest to private companies. There are other methods, but today I am focusing solely on natural resources.
1. Deep-sea minerals: There are extensive deposits of minerals at the ocean floor that do not belong to any country but can be extracted by private companies, provided they possess the appropriate extraction technologies. Among these minerals, manganese, cobalt, copper, and rare earth elements are found.
2. Space resources: States and private companies are beginning to show interest in extracting space resources from the moon and asteroids. No country can claim ownership rights over space beyond Earth, so a global government could begin by imposing rights and taxes on the exploitation of the space field surrounding the planet.
3. Antarctica: The exploitation of Antarctica is prohibited by the Antarctic Treaty. However, for the funding needs of a global governance of states, this prohibition could be selectively lifted to allow for the extraction of oil and other minerals.
4. High seas fishing: Beyond the exclusive economic zones, the ocean is teeming with an enormous amount of fish. The high seas could be attributed to a global government, which would then collect rights and taxes from its exploitation.
