Listen to this profound song of Bill Withers ''Lean On Me''!

Kindness is the language that the deaf can hear and the blind can see. It's a powerful force that transcends the boundaries of physical senses and speaks directly to the heart. In a world filled with noise and chaos, a simple act of kindness can resonate deeply, providing comfort, understanding, and connection. It is a universal language understood by all, regardless of their abilities or circumstances.

When we extend kindness to others, we create ripples of positivity that can spread far and wide, touching lives in ways we may never fully comprehend. It's a gentle reminder that our actions, no matter how small, have the potential to make a significant impact. Through kindness, we build bridges of empathy and compassion, fostering a sense of unity and shared humanity.

Whether it's a smile, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement, acts of kindness break through barriers and leave lasting impressions. They remind us that, at our core, we all seek connection and understanding. So, let us continue to speak the language of kindness, knowing that it is a gift that everyone can receive and understand, regardless of their limitations. In doing so, we make the world a better place, one kind act at a time.

#MYTHOUGHTS ABOUT WHY ROUTINE IS BETTER THAN MOTIVATION TO ACHIEVE GOALS - where I talk about hormones of motivation - this is a quick reaction to 's last post about 's video.

I think that people today tend to overestimate motivation, and underestimate routine. When you say "motivation" you mean emotional energy that push you to do things. When you say "routine" you mean mechanical habits that keep you doing things.

But emotions are not stable, they come and go, and you need to feed yourself with similar emotions to keep your motivation. On the other hand, routines are more consistent, you are tied to your habits and you don't need efforts to keep them, once established.

That's why you need motivation to lose weight, and it's hard ; but you just let your routine drive you to get fat, and it's easy. Now, I used an example where routine leads to a bad thing, but the real challenge is to find : how to find and establish the effortless routine that will lead me to a great achievement?

Please note that I didn't say self-discipline but routine. Because self-discipline is also hard to maintain, it has more to do with motivation, than with routine. Self-discipline needs a constant effort to rule yourself, but routine is effortless, you just let go.

OK, now let's finish with talking about the hormones of motivation, which are dopamine/endorphin to give pleasure, and adrenalin/cortisol to give fear. I think that motivation needs a big load of dopamine/endorphin/adrenalin/cortisol, that's why it's hard to keep in the long run. Not like routine which just needs a minimum quantity of these hormones, that's why it's effortless.

People prefer motivation because they like big emotional fluctuations, they want their inner ocean to have big waves. And that's why they reject routine which has less emotional fluctuations, they are bored when their inner ocean is stable and quiet.

WHY I AM IN FAVOR OF THE REPUBLIC BUT AGAINST DEMOCRACY #mythoughts

🇨🇵 Original FR après cette version ENG

The republic opposes monarchy since "republic" means that the three powers are no longer in the hands of a single person but distributed among three independent institutions. These three powers are the legislative power that creates laws, the executive power that enforces the law, and the judicial power that judges according to the law.

This separation of powers avoids the tyranny of a selfish dictator through the specialization of institutions, allowing them to fully focus on exercising a single power. This separation of powers is also a prerequisite for legality and the rule of law, which are essential components of good governance. Finally, the separation of powers allows for more efficiency in the legal system, resulting in a better economic and social environment and ultimately leading to development.

Therefore, I am in favor of the republic.

However, the republic does not necessarily mean democracy. For example, it is possible to construct a technocratic republic based on meritocracy, where decisions are made by enlightened individuals. I repeat: although the two concepts have been closely linked in practice throughout modern history, the republic is not necessarily democratic.

I am against democracy because the intelligence of the people does not necessarily reflect the intelligence and level of education of the top tier. We are then faced with a tyranny of the majority or, to put it more directly, a tyranny of the mediocre. It is very easy to influence the choices of this mediocre mass, particularly by using colossal means during electoral propaganda.

Therefore, I am against democracy.
