One of the ugliest things you can do is make fun of someone's appearance , their house , their parents' profession , the life they didn't choose . 🥀
There is no dignity in mocking someone for what they were simply born into . They didn't pick their face. They didn't pick the family they were raised in. They didn't pick how much money their parents had. Those things were decided long before they had any say in it. 🏠💔
You never know how much of a person's life was set in stone before they were old enough to decide anything for themselves.
What costs you nothing to respect may have cost someone else years of shame to accept. 🤍
So be careful what you laugh at. That thing you're mocking might be the exact thing they cried themselves to sleep over , the thing they're still learning to make peace with. 😔
