I have played classical piano for a long time, but quit around sophomore year in high school. After a. few years, I've picked it up in college again, and I've just about finished learning Rachmaninoff Moment Musicaux No.6 (C major) and can play the notes up to tempo, just need to work on phrasing and dynamics. Before I quit, I had learned Chopin's ballade No.1 (not fully polished/finished), schumann piano concerto, some of his waltzes, beethoven sonata 3, 8 (all 3 mvmt for 8, 1st for 3), Liszt Un Sospiro, chopin op 10 no 12, no 5, and was learning Ballade No. 3 before I stopped playing. In the meantime, I want to pick up a new piece to learn. Here are my candidates:
1. beethoven sonata 30 (1st mvmt) 2. scriabin fantasy (i know this is hard, idk if this is on my level) 3. re-learn ballade 3 4. Anees de pelerinage II (italie) 5 5. wilde jagd (played through the score and surprisingly looks manageable)
any suggestions? my left hand dexterity kind of sucks now too and im having trouble determining my "level" #audio #music source
