How are you supposed to know when "I'll let you know" means no
Been trying to make friends at uni and also ask people out and the thing that infuriates me most is that people never ever say "I do not want to hang out with you" which would upset me but I'd get over it. The issue is they say, "I'll see if I'm free", "maybe? I'll get back to you" or they say sure that sounds fun and then we don't make a plan so it never happens How am i supposed to tell if someone is being "polite" or if they actually aren't sure. Maybe I'm just autistic idk
