Fractured ankle hiking
I fell and twisted my ankle really badly while hiking 5 weeks ago. It still hurts so I had an x ray today. I was shocked that the x ray result says ankle is fracted. See x ray findings below:
FINDINGS: No acute fracture, evidence of fracture healing, or fracture deformity identified. Alignment is satisfactory. Ankle mortise is congruent and talar dome is intact.
Doctor said no followup is required but x ray clearly says ankle is fractured.
X ray report does not specify exactly where the fracture is. Anyone in the same position? How long till you were able to hike again
