Good evening, friends! 🌞 First of all, apologies for not being able to connect last night and this morning, multiple power cuts decided to take over, due to the weather. 😅🔌
I’m finally back from Mum’s Birthday Chronicles. 🎂😂
The day went beautifully, Mum was happy, singing a bit, even showing us some dance moves (yes, even though she can’t walk alone, legend behavior 💃❤️).
But of course, the weather said “let me be the main character”. 🌧️⚡
We had a severe rain warning, thunderstorms, flooded roads. Only the nearby family made it. The others, living in other parts of the island really didn't, the rain, and flood basically said “stay home.” And without forgetting the power cuts, because why not add a little extra drama to the day? 😅🔌
As for me, I was SO busy at the start that I didn’t even touch my phone. 📵 So unfortunately, I didn't capture the snacks and food. I only remembered my phone when it was time for the cake, because priorities suddenly came back. 🎂📸
Fun fact: we also forgot to put the champagne (don’t worry, non-alcoholic 😇) on the table. A whole celebration and the drink was just chilling somewhere else. 😙 It seems everyone was disturbed by the weather, no one reminded about it. The second video shows how the weather was, WEIRD.
We had to wrap things earlier so everyone could get home safely through the mini floods. Thankfully, everyone made it home safe and sound. 🙏✨
So yes, rainy, chaotic, a little annoying with the rain, but full of love and laughter. ❤️🌸

Just a little sad for mum, because she loves seeing everyone. All her children were here, but some of the grand children and their children were not there, but it's ok, at least we know they are safe.
