Does moving your hands too much during a conversation make a person seem less confident and less important?
This isn’t for me but it’s just something I generally have noticed. I feel like if someone is moving their hands a lot while talking regardless of who they are, it makes them seem less confident. Sometimes it can really add to what a person is talking about and I think it’s a good thing, but at the same time I’ve noticed this. It almost feels like if a person is more stoic and still while talking, they’re more important or confident?
Is this a known thing or is this just me feeling this way? Lol.
