Today, I stand in support of all those courageously fighting brain tumors and the families who walk this difficult journey beside them. Awareness is the first step toward understanding, compassion, and better treatment options.
Q1️⃣. If you could send one message of strength to someone fighting a brain tumor, what would you say and why?
👉👉 I would say: "Your courage is stronger than any challenge you face. Keep believing in yourself, one day at a time." I would say this because people battling a brain tumor often face uncertainty, pain, and emotional struggles. A reminder of their inner strength can provide hope during difficult moments.
Q2️⃣. Before today, how much did you know about brain tumors and their impact on patients and families? What surprised you the most?
👉👉 Before today, I knew that brain tumors can affect a person's health and daily life, but I did not fully understand how deeply they impact entire families. What surprised me most is how a brain tumor can affect memory, speech, emotions, and personality, creating challenges not only for patients but also for their loved ones who provide care and support.
Q3️⃣. What do you think is the most important way we can support brain tumor patients: awareness, emotional support, medical funding, or something else? Why?
👉👉 I believe all forms of support are important, but emotional support is especially powerful. Medical treatment helps the body, but kindness, encouragement, and understanding help the mind and spirit. Patients facing long treatments often need to know they are not alone. At the same time, increased awareness and medical funding are essential for improving research and access to care.
On this World Brain Tumor Day, let's spread awareness, show compassion, and support research that can bring hope to millions around the world. 💙🎗️
