I want to travel this time next year to see the solar eclipse. Looks like the best options are Gibraltar, Tangier and Luxor.
Gibraltar would be the easiest in that it’s an English speaking territory however it will probably be a crowded nightmare. Tangier would be right across the straight and would be the second option. Luxor will have the longest eclipse duration of 6mins and 30secs and likely will have zero cloud cover chance the problem is I haven’t heard the best things about Egypt and that time of year it will be blazing hot. Any recommendations?
