Advice needed for a state government job interview

I applied to a position as a parole investigator for my state's Bureau of Prisons and I received an interview date / time. After looking back over the job listing I misread the requirements and it would appear I don't actually qualify. I thought it asked for 3 years of public work experience or 2 years of parole investigation experience or 2 years of law enforcement experience when in actuality it requires 3 years of public works experience along with an additional 2 years of parole investigation experience or 2 years law enforcement experience.

I'm a university police dispatcher and a prior community service officer so I have some minor preliminary traffic investigation experience but I have zero experience with parole or probation.

I'm not entirely sure how to bullshit my way through this interview because I don't know what the job entails. The job listing was fairly vague. I was wondering if anyone had advice?
