2 week road trip with stays in between, anywhere we want to make sure we pass through or detour to?
So this is our upcoming road trip, it spans over two weeks and we have stays of various lengths in Brussels, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and France.
So far we are starting from Calais then straight to Brussels Mons and resting up.
From there we head to Germany but take a route via the Rhine Gorge Valley as we have been told plenty to see down there.
We then hit Germany, near Munich, for a short stay and from leaving here head to visit Schwangau for the lakes and castles there and after the visit finish the journey into Austria.
Once in Austria we are spending a few days staying near innsbruk from where we will base and try seeing anything within reasonable distance, we have been told of hot springs to visit, a dry slips toboggan type thing and a mountain pass which is meant to be a spectacular drive.
Following this we move onto Italy for a short stay near Vo, from here we head to Switzerland.
Once in Switzerland we have a good few days here as we wanted to enjoy the place and scenery but like Italy have nothing planned to see yet.
After leaving Switzerland we head into France and have a short stays before making the final leg home back in the UK.
Anyone got anything or any places that are a must see or visit within reach of this route? Places we are staying longer anything to see or do around those areas?
