Worth upgrading my old i7 10700k to something newer for 4k gaming and video calls?
hey. ive had my i7 10700k rtx 3080 32gb build for almost 5 years now and its still okay at 1440p but im eyeing a 4k monitor soon. also do a lot of zoom calls and light video editing for work. thinking about moving to a ryzen 7 9700x or intel arrow lake with a 4070 ti super or better.
budget is roughly 900-1300 keeping my case psu and storage. is the performance jump big enough at 4k to justify it or should i just get a stronger gpu and stay on the old platform a bit longer? any recs on mobo and ram if i switch? thanks, trying to make a smart move here.
