Possible water pressure or venting issue with plumbing
The bathroom on the 3rd floor of our rowhome has some strange plumbing issues. Toilet doesn't flush well (gurgling noise), our sinks are slow to drain (even after being snaked, no blockage), and overnight our showerhead will start to drip and then stop on its own. Also, it always smells a bit like poop in there, even when there's been no use. A plumber came by and scoped the lateral from the curb trap and the line stack from the roof - both were clear. I have zero experience here, but it seems like there's a venting issue which is making it hard for water to drain, and might have sewer gas backing up causing the smell. Or I've read water pressure could be to blame. The plumber who came by to scope was equally confused. Any thoughts? #home
