Just wanted to take some vacation time, my boss is being weird
So as the title says, I LAST month brought up the possibility of me leaving for 5 days so I can visit my best friend because shes turning 18 and ive know her since she was 11, she means so much to me I love her 💕 my boss kinda snapped at me..
She goes " Your a manager you cant just do that! You cant just be gone for that long, because what im i going to do?! You cant just do that, you need to figure it out" mind you, she was just out for a week and some change because she hurt her arm. Just, You know, the STORE MANAGER, im just an assistant!!! My other coworker thats a assistant manager just took a vacation for 2 weeks and my other crew member coworker left for A MONTH
I just was 5 lousy day bro 😭 I dont get pto or vacation days as a assistant manager just paid sick days but she says I would have to bring a doctor's note by the 3rd day 🥲 I thought being an adult meant i could be an adult bro but I feel sad and frustrated, just like a kid again, I live in CA, USA, if anybody has any advice :(
