The other side of "the missing piece"
I had a long flight and was thinking about how the Islanders traded their first ever draft pick Billy Harris for Butch Goring. Butch would go on to be called "the missing piece" and how much that sucked for Harris who really helped build that team and didn't get any of the glory.
So who are the other players out there who helped build the team only to miss out on their peak?
