Would my idea be considered rude to an artist?
I’m looking to get my first tattoo done and this is the design. Yes it’s the typical JoJos tattoo and as all the ones before me somewhere on my left shoulder blade lol. It’s on the smaller side but fairly detailed and I’m wondering if it’s rude to go to an artist who does larger detailed pieces for this? I’m sure I’d pay a bit more for their skills but I really don’t wanna mess this up as it’s important to me. There’s a guy at the shop I’m looking at who does smaller tattoos especially anime ones but I don’t like or trust his work. Will they screw me over or be rude because I’m asking the very skilled owner for a smaller tattoo rather than the guy who typically does them? Will my idea of a smaller tattoo be rude to the more skilled artist? Should I keep looking for artists who specialize in this stuff instead?
