I am righteous because I choose to do what is right even when no one is watching, and even when it is difficult. Life has tested me in many ways, as a parent, as a person who has been hurt, and as someone who had to stand alone, but I never allowed pain to turn me bitter or cruel. I may not be perfect, but I try to live with honesty, kindness, and respect for others. I take responsibility for my actions, I learn from my mistakes, and I keep my heart grounded in faith and humility. Being righteous for me means staying true to my values, choosing peace over revenge, and continuing to do good even after being wounded.
