Mid-April I’d like to attend a portuguese language course in Lisbon and as an avid fan of Portuguese culture I’d like to connect more with the country by doing a longer hike (up to 200km) in the countryside before that.
I already have some hiking experience and did hikes both in Portugal (Camino Português, Central Rota Vincentina) as well as longer hikes in other places (Nepal, Sweden, etc).
I’d like to ask if any of you would have any recommendations for an approx. 14 day hike in Portugal from end of March, preferably without the necessacity to camp. I looked into Fisherman’s Trail and Via Algarviana, but there may be some other hikes, even in the interior of the land, which could be some hidden gems. 😊
