Bathroom renovation - Shiplap on one feature wall
We are doing a bathroom remodel and the one thing my wife wants is shiplap on the vanity wall, so I guess that would be half of the wall. Do it vertical to draw the eye up and create height. Sure, Im no expert at all. But any idea she has had with other renovations have always worked well.
Question is material. I know there is MDF shiplap you can use. The bathroom has good ventilation with central HRV, and will also be having a backsplash.
I mean MDF baseboards are currently in the bathroom and I see no issues of moisture issue. if we do MDF it will be painted with a bathroom paint used for humidity
But should a person just do wood instead even though it costs more, or are there MDF water resistant versions of tis product. Anyone have experience with this sort of install.
