East Coast Roadtrip . Any tips?
Hey,
we are planning an east coast road trip from 31 August to 17 September and are looking for some inspiration.
Arrival and departure from JFK.
We want to start in New York (3 full days) and then by train to Washington (2 days). From Washington with a rental car.
We want to go to Niagara Falls and then back to NY JFK.
What is recommended on the way? After NY and Washington, we want to get to know nature, it is our first time in the US.
So far, we have the following destinations in mind, but we don't know if this is suitable as a road trip:
- Lancaster (Amish)
- Outer Banks
- Wiliamsburg/Yorktown
- Skyline Drive Shenandoah National Park
- Niagara Falls
- Lake Ontario
- Finger Lakes
- Maybe Toronto
