Customer question.
A few months back, I sold this table to a customer and today they set this photo back with a coffee ring. they asked me what they should do to remove this coffee ring stain. What should I tell them to try before I have them bring it back for a whole resurfacing.
Species is Elm wood
Finish is epoxy soaked into wood and sanded to a matte finish. So the wood is “exposed” but there is epoxy in the fibers if the wood.
My immediate reaction is to sand it and refinish it but I wanted to see if there was a less intrusive remedy before doing that.
