Still thankful am the last house standing., it’s a miracle that the floods didn’t touch my house, and only my fence was totally ruined. My house and two of my cars were left safe ..
do you know that 10-12 males has actually destroyed my entrance gate just to forced me to vacate my house as a rule no one is allowed to stay inside their house during that flood time and all must be forced to be evacuated and bring the affected people in one place…
and I resisted thinking I shouldn’t leave my house, nor my house needed me… what I did was to lockdown my gate so people from the outside could not barge
inside but they were all shouting “ma’am pls come with us” and so I was convinced with their efforts..and as I opened my gate the water infront of my gate has an extreme water current of floods already and the rope was tied in my gate that moment and so got no choice except to held the hands of the rescuers and put my faith to God. Also prior to that I already called my office to send 3 people to fetch me as a back up plan for my safety. So As I reached the evacuation center I see 400 bodies crying, sleeping in one area… and couldn’t afford to stay and talk more.. and I was thankful that my own Team came on time.. and we left the area… as I do not wish to further see the sufferings .. that led me to a fever and trauma later on .. such life so mysterious… it could be harsh but then again it teaches us to become stronger more…
goodnight …
