25' Wyvern Progress
Latest fantasy carve. Eastern pine slabs and half rounds. 37 pieces joined with epoxy, timber locks and dowels. Burned with oxy-acetylene and brushed back before applying storm systems cedar. It'll be painted (bummer) to look like Smaug from the Hobbit. I'm showing it now because this is how I'd keep it personally. All joints will be closed closed except the elbow/wing and base of tail. These will be done onsite. The hardware showing is hidden by wood dowels and carved to blend.
